Born and raised here in Arlington, Massachusetts, I am proud to support my community in a relaxing and caring way through the art of hairdressing. Hearten is a verb that means to give heart/joy to something. I am here to give and share joy as your hairstylist.

As a single parent and business owner, I understand the scarcity of free time and importance of relaxing in a space where you can feel pampered. It is important to escape from day to day stress. I have created a relaxing salon space where you can truly unplug, unwind, and feel rejuvenated.

My goal is to help the hair frustrated guest that struggles with their gray hair. I specialize in the gray hair journey whatever that may be for you. There is no wrong way to work with your gray. Your journey could be to blend your gray, completely cover your gray, or transition to gray. Gray hair texture can be frustrating also and that is where I will help. As a sliver haired sister myself, I can relate! I will take your hair from frustrating to fabulous with color, cut and haircare.

When working together, we will collaborate to create a long term plan for your hair that will suit your needs and lifestyle. We will strive to achieve true hair enlightenment, so that you are thinking about your hair when you want to, not because you have to. We will communicate and collaborate at every appointment to make sure you are happy with your hair, hair products and styling routine. I want to create joy at every appointment!

When I am not at the salon, I spend the warmer months out on the water with my dogs, daughter and fiancé. We love boating and discovering new places to swim and explore. When we aren’t boating I am a total homebody that loves to garden and read books about history. I am also known to binge buttered popcorn and Netflix shows as well!
